Sabbath's Appetizer- I know what God cannot do!

Hmm what a title? Yes I know you know that God can do and undo, there is nothing that is impossible for him... I also know this and that is the more reason why I can boldly say I know what He cannot do.

What is it?

He cannot LIE!

"God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"- Numumbers 23:19

You may feel like of course I know, but how has the knowledge really helped you? And by this I mean how has it really helped you in trusting him?

So many time I've acted based on my own knowledge, because I needed Him to do something and it seemed He was slow in attending to it, I forgot that I exist in Time, but he exist outside of Time.

This post is not meant to be long, but just to remind you and implore you to inscribe it on tablet of your heart and on the palm of your hands, that truly God does not LIE. He would definitely do all he said he would do in his word.

"And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent"- 1Samuel 15:29

Don't let us always use our emotions to judge his words, don't let us try to reason it out, don't add extra meaning to it. Just take it as He as said it.

When it looks like things ain't going the way we planned or expected it, instead of doubting God it's high time we ask ourselves if we were actually in his purpose and plan, and once we are sure we on the right page with him. My dears, it's time to enter his rest and keep trusting, knowing that all things are working out for our good and for His glorification.

Have a blessed Sunday!
