Sabbath's Appetizer- Why you should make Him your Top Secret

Sometimes ago while we were writing the midterm test, the day my students wrote my paper I asked them to submit their notes for grading. In my mind I thought they would bring their notes to school for revision.

To my outmost surprise only a handful brought their notes. The other said they brought textbook for revision. I began wondering why they brought textbook that is bulky instead of their notes that was lighter. Then I realized it was because they knew it was the textbook I used in writing my lesson note. I kept thinking about this and you will be surprise at the wisdom I got.

You see, those student don't care if I edited the notes before giving them. All they are concerned with is the thought that the textbook is my secret.

This made me think about some claims I used to hear sometimes ago, that Coca-Cola kept their secret formula from people. The person said if the general public knew the accurate mixing formula, Coke business would have failed because people will be producing it at every streets corner. Well, I'm not sure of that fact but as a business person I know people are always looking for the secrets of top brands.

But I feel most times it is not about the secret. It is more about the intention (purpose) behind the things you're doing. And much more the strong connection that you have with the source of the secret that makes you succeed exponentially. That source must better be God.

I have realised that it is very possible for me to know a person's secret but it does not mean I can command what the person commands.

If at all you desire a secret formula then you better let that secret be God and if anyone is looking for a way to run you down, then they have to go through him to get to you.

Deuteronomy 28:7 "The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways."
