My Niche, my Audience, my Purpose

I really did not know I needed to be serious about this, I felt God who gives me inspiration will also get it to my audience. Although I know what I do, I was shying away from those I was doing it for. I comforted myself in this quote by Iyanla, "when a teacher is ready, the students will show up".

Maybe yes, but now I believe when the teacher is working on herself and getting are crafts right, she should consider her students and take charge of her class. I blog in the faith community and overtime I have realized how powerful religion is to people and as much as I would like to say Christianity is much more than a religion, and would emphasize spirituality over religious protocol. Yet if asked my faith or religion I would still say I am a Christian because that is who I am. A Jesus Lover! Who goes to Church!

Sometimes ago, I had tried to implement a prayer session in my high school group on whatsApp. After the third session it failed, in fact I had to exit the group for a while. Controversy arose on how to pray so that we would not be imposing another person's religion on each other. I learnt a big lesson about compromise that day.

I had taken conflict resolution course in the university so I felt I could agree to compromise some things so that the prayer can work, but on further discussion with fellow Christians I realize that there are things you should never compromise and that is your FAITH. What is the essence of praying without including Jesus name? It doesn't matter how powerful the prayer request is, once it comes broken, it is broken.

That event made me to say Never! Never again will I feel everyone is on the same faith page with me. And whatever I know is not right that I permit or ignore now will later come backfire. Therefore, in restructuring my blog I needed to hit the nail on the head on who I am, what I do and who I do it for.

So who am I? I am Tope Elizabeth, a Purpose and Creativity Messenger.

What I do? I write and speak through my blog to help individuals become productive in their fields and also to help others find meaning in life.

Who I do it for? Believers! Christains who wants to make high-impacts fulfilling their God ordained destiny.

Yes, is a development blog, but it is for Believers. Non-believers are welcome to learn and I hope for their best too. You see, I do not need to deceive myself or anyone, someone said if you don't worship God you will worship something lesser. I have seen people who does things similar to what I do, give presentations and all but says you do not need God, their source and belief is in scientific research and evidence based. So why shouldn't I also make my stand clear? Therefore if anyone thinks mine is too much, you can go to them. But I pray you find purpose the right way, through Jesus. This is my business. If you are also a blogger or you do something in the faith community, don't be afraid to take your stand, you will be surprise at those who will appreciate you.

Do I sound harsh?

Let's meditate on this verse together.
Exodus 5:1-2 "And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness. And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go".

You see, you would naturally not make sense to anyone who is not of the same believe as you. It takes a higher conviction or power to make them see what you saw. Therefore, it is better you take your stand so they know who you are and what to expect. Pharaoh initially only saw man in Moses and did not believe him, but when he saw God in Moses he believed truly there is a God that the Israelites should serve.
